Their story
Wassim Naghi is a Lebanese architect, restoration specialist, and academic known for his work protecting Tripoli’s architectural heritage. He is president of the Niemeyer Heritage Foundation Tripoli, which helped advocate for the preservation of the Rachid Karami International Fair and contributed to efforts that led to its inscription on UNESCO’s World Heritage List and World Heritage in Danger List in 2023.
