Their story
Nathalie Chahine Al Chabab is a Lebanese conservation architect and academic specializing in the restoration and preservation of built heritage. Following the August 4 Beirut port explosion, she contributed to efforts to rescue damaged historic buildings and has been a leading advocate for preserving the Beirut Port silos as a memorial and symbol of collective memory.
